I found this website very useful as I would like to become a professional wedding photographer in the future. When I was reading this article I noticed that I already do some of the things the writer had advised beginners to do, I am happy to know that I am heading in the right direction!
Here's the link to the article, check it out if you're interested to.

These are my original drawings. First one is an ink pen drawing and the second is a colour pencil drawing. They are both the same idea, however with the second one I added mechanical arms that are trying to grab the woman. This piece is meant to represent a dream, the woman is having a dream, she is dreaming that she just woke up and turned half robot, half human.
I got my inspiration from a manga drawing book. In the original image the human girl is looking into a mechanical looking mirror and her reflection is a robot, a small robot stands next to the mirror as if telling her to look at her reflection.
This is also one of my paintings, acrylic on canvas, 36x47cm. I don't have a name for it yet, but i'm working on it. I got the idea to do this straight from my imagination, at the time I knew there was an artist who did artworks where people were made out of fruit and vegetables but I couldn't remember who. I finally realised in my digital design class at tafe that the artist who did that was Giuseppe Arcimboldo. So I guess he has turned out to be a huge inspiration for this painting.
This is my painting that I painted last year. It's called 'The Mimes Dream', acrylic paint on canvas, 50.8x 76.2. I used my photo as a reference my friend/model was dressed up as a mime, so i decided to copy the pose that he did in the photo.
Salvador Dali was my main inspiration for this piece. Particularly the paintings 'Daddy Long Leg's in the evening' and 'Metamorphosis of Narcissus'. I tried to mimic his 'liquid' effect.

This photo I am also very proud of. I love the tonal values and colours it worked out just as I planned. I love how he managed to pull off a sense of vulnerability but also I think strength and courage show as well. This is also a photo that is apart of the latest November 2011 photo-shoot that I did. You'll also notice that my drawing of this photo is below.
This is a portrait photo of my friend who was one of my main models for my photography. The photo is a part of a photo-shoot that I had done in November last year. I was very proud of how well this photo-shoot turned out. What I love about this photo is the intensity of the mood, and I mean when you look at him in particular all you see is a blank stare but I think that his expression shows so much more than just a stare, it's quite powerful actually, there is sadness and emptiness expressed. There is a sense of deep thought and possibly like he is grieving.
